Cosmin Vasile is a professional choreographer and dancer, a follower of visual arts and performance. After graduating from the Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance in London, he now aims to develop and improve the quality of the contemporary dance scene in Romania, being trained in a wide range of dance techniques, both as a performer and choreographer.
His artistic interest consists of the desire to highlight the corporeality of the dance movement and the discovery of various methods to bring to the surface the individuality of the performers through the play of qualities of dynamism, energy exchange and intense feelings. He praises the complexity of the styles he can approach in his work.
Cosmin danced in performances at the National Dance Center, the ‘Ion Dacian’ National Operetta and Musical Theater, the State Jewish Theater, the ‘Stela Popescu’ Theater, Linotip – Independent Choreographic Center. In 2018 he created his first show, ‘Vox Nihili’, at the National Dance Center.
In addition to his experience in England, Cosmin has worked with international artists such as Dominique Mercy and Malou Airaudo, Vera Mantero, Ana Maria Lucaciu and Massimo Gerardi.
