Silvia Andreea IONAȘCU is part of the TMA Ballet Ensemble and is a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, specializing in English-Turkish.
She performed and perfected herself until 2018 in the AS dance troupe, mentored by her choreographers Mona Teodorescu and Aura Ghica. I was able to admire her talent in various national competitions, such as “Romanians have talent” – Pro TV, “Romania Dances” – Antena 1, “Golden Dolphin” – Năvodari, “Golden Bear” – Baia Mare and international: “Colors of the World ”International Language and Culture Festival,“ Battery Dance Company ”-US, USA,“ Your Success ”- Moscow, Russia,“ Gaziemir Ulusal ve Ulusuararasi Cocuk Shenligi ”- Izmir, Turkey.
On the TMA stage, Silvia is the nice Tea-cup from the ballet “Beauty and the Beast”, adaptation after Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, the Vagabond from the ballet “La Piață”, adaptation after Mihail Jora, but you can also applaud her in the shows “Fool and Tandal” , adaptation of the famous old romanian stories, “Înșir’te Mărgărite”, adaptation of Victor Eftimiu or “Povestea Florii-Soarelui”, a show based on authentic Romanian folk music.
Together with the TMA Ballet Ensemble, she has won numerous awards for participating in major international competitions and festivals. Among them 1st place – GOLDEN DIPLOMA at the GOLDEN DANCE online international competition, SPECIAL AWARD awarded by EURO-FOLK ACADEMY, coordinator of international festivals organized under the auspices EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF FOLKLORE FESTIVALS, UNESCO partner, LAUREATE I – GOLD DIPLOMA OF WORLD , Ryan Foundation Trophy at the 16th RYAN INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL – New Delhi, India.
Trivia: The road to the dream career began at the age of 3, Silvia practicing artistic gymnastics at the Steaua Sports Club. She was trained by the great sportswomen Sandra Izbașa, Eliza Stoica, Mariana Cristea, Floarea Leonida and chosen for the national team. He loves to play football, watch movies the marathon way and cook.
