The soloist Jennifer DUMITRAȘCU grew up in the spotlight. She has been singing since she was 4 years old, and at 5 she has already played roles in Romanian soap operas, such as “Îngeraşii”, “Aniela”, “Pariu cu viaţa”, “O nouă viaţă”, and voice overed many of the voices of the children’s favorite characters on Disney, Nickelodeon and Netflix channels. Jennifer recently graduated from the “Gheorghe Șincai” National College in Bucharest and was admitted to the Faculty of Administration and Business at the University of Bucharest.

Her career already has some important milestones: 2011 – the main role in a short film awarded 2 trophies at the Ciak Film Festival in Italy, 2012 – beginning of the collaboration with the Comic Opera for Children and later with the “Stela Popescu” Theater, participation in tournaments in India, Sri Lanka, Czech Republic, China, Turkey, Bulgaria etc.

At TMA you applauded her for the role of Sorina – the youngest daughter of the White Emperor in the musical ” Însir’te Mărgărite”, adapted from Victor Eftimiu, the Storyteller in the musical “Păcală şi Tândală”, but also in the ballets “Frumoasa şi Bestia”, adaptation after Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot by Villeneuve and “La Piață”, adaptation after Mihail Jora or in the show “Povestea Florii-Soarelui”, based on authentic Romanian folk music.

Along with the TMA Ensemble, Jennifer represented Romania at the WORLD CUP OF FOLKLORE 2020 online obtaining LAUREATE I – GOLD DIPLOMA and SPECIAL AWARD awarded by EURO-FOLK ACADEMY, coordinator of international festivals organized under the auspices of EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF FOLKLORE FESTIVALS.

Trivia: In 2017, Jennifer ranked among the semifinalists of the “Vocea României Junior” competition, being part of the team of the famous composer Marius Moga.
